I've gathered a few websites for writers. I’m sure
every writer will find something of value on this blog post.
Have fun navigating the sites!
Freelance writing This site offers job listings, literary
contests and interesting articles.
www.oncewritten.com This site gives you tips on how to publish and promote your book, opportunities and contests.
copyright.gov All
you need to know about copyright issues, rules and regulations is here.
Critique Circle If
you need feedback on your work this online literary group is the one I
recommend. In the past I tried different
literary groups and I settled for this one. Their system is wonderful and easy to use. It is password protected, so the work you share is only available to cc members.

Hi Julia - I'll second the suggestion of Critique Circle - a great spot for feedback on your work. I'd also suggest http://absolutewrite.com/ which gets some great guest articles on all aspects of writing, http://www.fundsforwriters.com/ which runs fanastic newsletters of writing contests, conferences, calls for submissions etc, and I've a lot more links for writers (fiction and non) at http://www.gracetierney.com/toolkit.html

DeleteGreetings Julia,
ReplyDeleteThese links look fantastic. Just what an aspiring writer could use.
Although, I just write for cathartic and therapeutic reasons, which is just fine, I do appreciate it and I hope you don't mind, but I've taken the liberty of sharing your valuable posting.
Have a wonderful weekend. In kindness,
Gary
That's a great idea, Gary. Thank you. We are here to help each other.
DeleteEvery piece of writing has a cathartic side. Don't underestimate the cathartic nature of your work. I can't wait to read more of your writing! Thank you for your visit. Enjoy your weekend.
Hi, Julia. Thanks for posting the links. I'm going to pop over now and have a look. I haven't come across any of them before. Hope you are having a great weekend.
