Something different
Today I am guest blogging on Squalorly, a literary magazine. Please, come and read me here. I will appreciate your comments.
Hi, Julia, I so enjoyed your article on being open minded at Squalorly. That magazine is a nice new discovery, and the contest looks interesting. I left a comment there about your article, and also a comment on my own blog after you stopped by.
Elizabeth: thank you so much for taking the time to read my article and for commenting on it. I like Squalorly too. I discovered this literary magazine a few days ago on New Pages.
Hi Julia .. living in a different country opens many doors and a different mindset especially on return to one's homeland ... certainly that's what I've found.
So true, Hilary. Here's a quote by Bertrand Russell that describes how I feel about this: "I think we ought always to entertain our opinions with some measure of doubt. I shouldn't wish people dogmatically to believe any philosophy, not even mine."
I have read your posting. What you have written most certainly resonates with me. You understand that writing, looking at so many possibilities, embracing other cultures in this great diversity, can open the mind.
Like you, I look at life from different perspectives. Writing can be force for the good. A force to increase understanding and awareness. To create debate. I believe that I can annoy with some of the stuff I write. Yay me! :)
I considered your article to be a darned provocative read. Terrific stuff, Julia. Enjoy the rest of your weekend, my friend.
Gary, thanks for taking the time to read my article and for your feedback. It is somewhat provocative, yes. I'm glad we share these motivations, my friend. I certainly write from my soul and my thoughts. Authenticity does not always equal popularity. In most cases, it doesn't. Thanks for your feedback.
Rum Punch Drunk, thank you for reading it and for commenting. The comment is not there yet, but I will be reading it when it is visible. I appreciate your interest in my article.
I'm popping over now, Julia. If you have a look at my blog I've passed a Leibster award to you in my latest post.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Sharon. That's very kind of you.
