Celebrating World Compassion Day July 7

As we celebrate compassion day, I reflect once again on the power of literature. I believe literature has the power to make people more compassionate.
It has the potential to open doors of understanding.
May you all have a peaceful week.

  1. I agree literature can make us more compassionate. It introduces us to lives we might otherwise know nothing about.

I learn a lot from writing too as I try to see things from different characters' POV.

  4. Hi Julia,

Now to make everyday. compassion day. What a world that would be. Literature flickers the flames of learning, of that compassion. Literature and such diversity. Lessons we can learn.

Thank you, Julia. Here's to World Compassion Day and forever more.

    Hugs and hope,

    Gary
