ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Julia. Loved the story!
ReplyDeleteKimberly, thank you so much for reading it.
DeleteCongratulations Julia!!! Well-deserved :)
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone. Let's keep writing.
ReplyDeleteCongrats, Julia! I love the flash fiction piece you wrote. I can relate to being the shy little girl who had trouble with math but excelled in compositions. Your reaction to Ms. White reminds me of my reaction to running into nuns who were teachers of mine lol! Being sent to the principal’s office for something so meaningless was just not right and no educational value to it. Again, I can relate to experiences I had with nuns. Well written and entertaining piece. Thank you for sharing it.
ReplyDeleteDear Jersey, thank you so much for reading it and for sharing your feedback and the way you feel about it. It means a lot to me.

ReplyDeleteThanks. Talking about killing creativity...
DeleteCongratulations!that's wonderful news. xx
ReplyDeleteThanks, Michelle.
DeleteCongratulations, Julia. Very moving piece. As a former teacher, I can't imagine sending a kid to the office just because they forgot to bring something from home. In fact, I have no idea why the kids didn't just keep them at school in their desks.
ReplyDeleteLoved your description of the teacher.
Thanks for your comment, Elizabeth. It is based on a true life experience.
DeleteGIRL, your on FIRE :) Congratulations.
